Before you head out onto the pavement or the trails, take 60 seconds to perform the ABC check. It’s the easiest way to ensure your ride is safe and your components last longer.
A is for Air: Squeeze your tires. They should feel firm, like a basketball. Check the sidewall for the recommended PSI (Pressure per Square Inch).
B is for Brakes: Squeeze your front and rear brake levers. You should have at least a thumb’s width of space between the lever and the handlebar when pulled tightly.
C is for Chain: Ensure your chain is lightly lubed and free of excessive grime. If it’s squeaking, it’s crying for help.
Pro Tip: If you hear a "clunk" when you drop your bike from 2 inches off the ground, something is loose. Bring it in for a Quick-Tune.
